About Klaro
-
Klaro Industrial Design is based in Enmore, in Sydney’s Inner West, NSW, Australia. Our showroom and studio are located at Unit 2, 263 Enmore Road, Enmore.
-
Yes. Klaro designs its furniture in-house and manufactures most of its products in Australia through a network of local makers and suppliers.
-
All Klaro products are made in Australia except our height-adjustable furniture and workstation system ranges. Refer to the individual product page or specification sheet for product-specific manufacturing information.
-
All Klaro furniture is designed in-house by our team at our Sydney studio. We develop each product for Australian commercial interiors, with a focus on adaptability, material efficiency, long-term use and practical project requirements.
-
Yes. Many Klaro products can be customised in size, finish, top material, base configuration, mobility and power or data integration. What is achievable depends on the product, dimensions, material, structural requirements and project quantity. Send us your intended configuration and we’ll confirm feasibility, pricing and lead time.
Materials & Finishes
-
It's a powder coat finish designed to read as chrome — it gives a similar bright, reflective look at a lower cost and with better durability than real chrome plating, but it isn't polished metal. We're always happy to send a physical sample before you specify, since finishes can photograph differently to how they look in person.
-
Polytec tops are available in a standard edge profile as shown on the product page, with square or pencil-round edge options on request. A natural timber top is available as an upgrade — cost and lead time depend on species and size, so we quote this per project.
-
We can supply a colour cross-reference on request matching our standard powder coat range to the nearest Laminex/Dulux commercial equivalents — useful when you're trying to match a frame colour to joinery or another supplier's finish.
-
Our current core range is listed on the product/finishes page; if you need the full swatch list or a physical sample box for a pitch, let us know and we'll send one out.
-
Yes — matching or contrasting top/base finishes are both available; just flag your preference when you request a quote.
Customisation
-
In many cases yes, depending on the leg profile and table weight — this is a detail we work through at the shop-drawing stage for a custom order.
-
This depends on the span, top material and expected load — our team reviews the intended use case and can usually offer an engineered alternative leg configuration for a custom quote.
-
Standard lengths are listed on the product page as the tested, stocked configuration; longer tops are often achievable as a custom order with a revised leg/support design — get in touch with your intended length and we'll confirm feasibility and pricing.
-
Often yes as a custom detail — send through the drawing or product reference and we'll confirm what's achievable on a fixed-height frame.
Files & Documentation
-
We can provide Revit families / BIM files, and can generate them for previously ordered custom pieces on request — let us know the product names and your project so we can match the exact configuration supplied or get standard models from our Specifiers Library
-
Yes — we keep approved shop drawings on file and can reissue them for previously supplied products; just give us the project name or PO number and we'll send them through.
Pricing & Ordering
-
There is a modest upcharge for the chrome-look finish; lead time is generally unaffected, but we'll always confirm both on the formal quote.
-
Yes — we're happy to put together a tiered pricing view (e.g. standard finish vs upgraded finish/customisation) so you can present options to a client who doesn't have a fixed budget yet.
-
We can share indicative pricing for standard/core range items on request; bespoke and project-specific configurations are quoted individually once we know full specifications.
-
This depends on the state and product — reach out with your project location and we'll confirm the right path to order, whether that's directly through Klaro or via our local dealer.
Lead Times, Delivery & Install
-
Lead time is typically 6–8 weeks as quoted per project, and it starts from deposit payment and shop drawing sign-off — not from the PO date.
-
Install time depends on order size and site access — we'll confirm an estimated install window as part of your delivery schedule once the order is confirmed.
Sustainability & Compliance
-
We can supply supporting documentation (materials data, certifications and compliance information) to help your Green Star submission — let us know which credit/category you're targeting and we'll put together what's needed
Care & Maintenance
-
Yes — felt glides can be fitted to the base of stools and chairs for exactly this reason. Let us know at order stage, or we can retrofit them to furniture you already have.
