Beige Steps Up: The New Black Dress of Interior Architecture in a Female-Led Workspace
At Absolute Domestics HQ, Klaro Industrial Design was inspired not just by the brief, but by the spirit of the brand itself. This was more than a workspace—it was an opportunity to design an environment that reflects the quiet strength and grounded energy of the powerhouse female-led team behind the business. The result is a space where calm sophistication meets functional flexibility—and where beige proves it can be bold.
With sweeping panoramic windows and light-filled interiors perched among treetops, the workplace feels elevated, both literally and emotionally. The design captures the brand’s identity: composed, confident, and grounded. A neutral palette runs throughout, but thoughtful textures, rich materials, and soft curves redefine beige as an elevated, intentional statement rather than a safe fallback.
CONUS, a locally manufactured table, brings architectural presence to the space. Its 4mm thick top and conical mild steel base are powder coated in Dulux Paperbark, creating a visual dialogue with the gum trees just outside.

The layout is designed to foster collaboration, focus, and flow, anchored by Klaro's signature products:
OBLONG workstations in our in-house Paperbark powder coat bring structure and warmth.
CONUS tables add a geometric edge, highlighting the curved RAPT acoustic wall panels with graphic presence.
HALFMOON range introduces sculptural monumentality, creating a generous and somewhat grand dining experience.
FATI hanging planters soften the space with biophilic design—lush Pathos vines will eventually trail to the floor, evoking the feel of a leafy garden path.
COLUMN h/a executive desk is softened by PUFFY modesty panel and RAPT acoustic wall treatment.

The OBLONG workstation is a modular system, designed to adapt and be reconfigured as needs evolve. Its soft leg profile, rounded benchtop corners, and shark-nose edge detail, combined with PUFFY embossed acoustic spine screens, create a workspace that’s as inviting as a desk can be.
